Surgery

Health services include surgical procedures for the esophagus, thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, spleen, breast, stomach, gallbladder, small intestine, colon, and hernia.  Many surgical procedures can be performed with laparoscopic, theracoscopic and robotically assisted surgical systems to reduce pain, risk of infection and blood loss, facilitate recovery, and minimize scarring.

Interventional Cardiology

Health services provided include the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease, vascular disease, structural heart disease and congenital defects. At Ruby Valley Medical Center, the Interventional Cardiologist also performs echocardiograms with a diagnostic ultrasound to help evaluate the patient’s heart health and determine if any medical treatment is necessary.
