The Ruby Valley Medical Center’s Diagnostic Imaging Department offers both inpatient and outpatient general x-ray and CT scan services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Our skilled technologists include the Department Manager, Mary Ann Birdsill, ARRT(R)(M), Darci Doig RT(R)(BD)(ARRT), Joan Hendrickson, RT(R), and Tonya Romkema, RT(R).   All are required to attend continuing education classes every year. 

 

The department averages between 80 and 110 patients a month with referrals coming from the Sheridan and Twin Bridges Medical Clinics, Tobacco Root Mountains Care Center, Home Park Assisted Living and out of town referrals.

  • Canon Lightning Aquilion, 32 slice CT

  • Canon APL10-A550 Ultrasound

RVMC X-Ray and C-Arm

X-Ray system and C-Arm imaging scanner intensifier which is used to facilitate Non-Surgical Pain Management treatments.

Canon Lightning Aquilion, 32 slice CT Scanner

Ruby Valley Medical Center provides general diagnostic ultrasounds and echocardiograms on alternating Fridays. Dr. Robert Minor reviews the echocardiograms and provides interventional cardiology consultations. Stress echocardiograms will be available in late, 2021.
