The Ruby Valley Medical Center’s Diagnostic Imaging Department offers both inpatient and outpatient general x-ray and CT scan services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Our skilled technologists include the Department Manager, Mary Ann Birdsill, ARRT(R)(M), Darci Doig RT(R)(BD)(ARRT), Joan Hendrickson, RT(R), and Tonya Romkema, RT(R).   All are required to attend continuing education classes every year. 

 

The department averages between 80 and 110 patients a month with referrals coming from the Sheridan and Twin Bridges Medical Clinics, Tobacco Root Mountains Care Center, Home Park Assisted Living and out of town referrals.

Our diagnostic imaging equipment includes - 

  • Carestream Quantum w/DXR x-ray

  • Carestream SRX Revolution Portable x-ray

  • Cannon Lightning Aquilion, 32 slice CT

RVMC X-Ray and C-Arm

X-Ray system and C-Arm imaging scanner intensifier which is used to facilitate Non-Surgical Pain Management treatments.

Need an MRI?  The Monida Mobile MRI van comes to the Ruby Valley Medical Center every Tuesday morning.  You can call (406) 842-5453 to arrange an appointment.  

You don't need to leave the Ruby Valley to find excellent radiology and CT scan services.  Images can be sent almost instantly to the ordering physician and radiologist for timely and accurate diagnoses, so our patients will receive the most effective treatment available.
